If you’re obsessed with all things Apple, particularly the iPhone or iPod touch, you can now go to the next level… with iPhone bedding.

I would like to think that this was designed for young kids, but I have a feeling it will be purchased by grown men who don’t plan on bringing anybody back to their place.

You have to check this out. Wired thinks it may be a hoax. This is the iTwinge, due out in November. This slips over your iPhone keyboard and gives it the typing functionality of a Blackberry.

You can better believe we filed this under “worthless iPhone accessories.” Twice.

Think about it, for $30 you really want to slide this thing on to your iPhone so you can type? And remember, when you are done typing and want to get into Safari, your iPod, Mail, phone or whatever the hell else you have at the bottom of your phone, you have to slide it off again.

Imagine sending your friend a text message after just sliding the iTwinge onto your phone (it’s something else to carry too, keep that in mind). Now you want to go to the internet. You take the iTwinge off and click on Safari. Now you need to type the address of the website you want, so you slide it back on. This sound like fun? Doesn’t to us either.

Ok so this Sandwich Dynamics company released their first app and it’s called Birdhouse. It’s essentially a Twitter app that lets you jot down your tweet thoughts so you can post them later. It works with multiple accounts, let’s you save drafts and even rank your tweets so you know which ones are most important when it’s time to post them.

Sounds sorta neat, right? Maybe? So why I have categorized this as a worthless iPhone accessory? Because it is.

You can’t read other people’s tweets, so this is not an app that will replace your Twitterific or whatever the hell it is you use. Also? It’s four-frigging dollars. $4?? Really? Why would I pay that much money for a Twitter notepad?

I don’t get it.

On Twitter today (are you on? follow me @Lindsey651) I saw someone giving away a MovieWedge “iPhone stand.” I have never had the need for a stand, but I also don’t watch movies on the iPhone. And when watching YouTube clips I am able to muster the strength to hold the phone on my own. Still, being curious I checked it out.

I headed over to the MovieWedge website and quickly realized it’s a beanbag. Just a beanbag with a $9.95 price tag. It doesn’t even come in any fancy colors or patterns. Hell, I made these things at sleep-away camp when I was a kid. For less work, you can head over to your local dollar store. Go crazy, buy two.
