MMS services won’t be additional cost
June 15th, 2009For whatever reason, the current iPhone can’t send and receive image and video text messages. The damn phone does everything else in the world, but for some reason it can’t do that. How many have you gotten that obnoxious message that sends you to some website with a password so that you can see the stupid-ass picture of your friend sitting at the ballpark. And don’t you feel like you’ve told everyone over and over again that you can. not. view. images. or. video. on. your. iPhone?
Well once the OS 3.0 software comes out (tomorrow we think it’s available), you will be able to do those things. And the best part? AT+T says that you won’t be charged extra for sending pics or video.
“Later this summer, as part of the 3.0 software, AT&T will make multimedia messaging (MMS) available at no extra cost to customers with a text messaging bundle.”
